We own the boring parts — hosting, subdomains, ATS scoring, parsing, templates, payments — so the user spends time on the parts that compound: the case studies, the metrics, the voice.
The problem we’re solving
Modern hiring loses signal in two places and creates friction in two more. Signal is lost when ATS filters reward keyword density over judgment, dropping strong candidates before a human reads anything, and when LinkedIn renders every profile in the same template so senior engineers and senior interns look identical. Friction shows up when shipping a personal site requires five separate yak shaves before the first case study lands, and when tailoring a résumé to each role — bullet rewrites, emphasis swaps, section reordering — is real work most candidates skip. What we build
A résumé-to-portfolio pipeline that turns a PDF upload into a structured résumé and a published site under <you>.showcify.com(or a custom domain on paid tiers). AI-tailored applications that return a tailored résumé with a measured ATS-score delta, gated by a review screen. ATS scoring as a first-class surface — every résumé gets a score, every tailored version gets a delta. Multi-tenant portfolio hosting with real DNS subdomains, themes, and custom domains. Projects, case studies, experience, education, and skills as first-class editable artefacts.
What we deliberately don’t build
We are not a general-purpose CMS — the product shape is career-first, and bending it toward marketing sites breaks the abstractions. We are not a freelance marketplace; we don’t broker work, and conversations happen off-platform. We are not a LinkedIn clone — no feed, no graph, no DMs. And we are not an AI résumé writer that hides the seams; AI suggests and accelerates, the user reviews and owns the voice.
Five principles. Held loudly.
- Proof over claims. The UI surfaces evidence — metrics, artefacts, case studies — ahead of adjectives.
- AI as accelerator, not author. Every AI-generated artefact has a review step and a visible diff; nothing ships without consent.
- The URL is the user’s. Real subdomains, real custom domains, no ?ref=showcify in the share link — Showcify is infrastructure, not a billboard.
- Security is a default, not a feature. HttpOnly cookies, CSRF on mutating routes, backend validation as the boundary.
- Tier limits are honest. The free tier is usable end-to-end; paid unlocks capacity, never the core loop.
A small team. Deliberately so.
